Are beards allowed yet for MS and Elders??

    Not sure about beards.. but brooms and mops certainly are one of the great privileges you will be awarded and trained in the use of. Something about "being completely equipped for every good cleaning job".

    That is because people back then did not have access to razors and scissors to cut them often.

    And no Data-Dog, beards are not cool. They prevent airflow around the face to cool it off.

    Rattiagan350, perhaps that is why they practiced circumcision, they had access to fine surgical instruments to operate on baby males.

    Beards are allowed by permission of the BOE of that brother's congregation. It does not go outside the congregation unless another individual BOE approves it such as giving a public talk. But at the assembly/convention level the authority bumps up to the WTS organization level and beards are not allowed on the platform.

    I do wonder if white shirts (long-sleeve) are required on the platform still at an assembly/convention?
