Splash - Indeed. Our cash value is that we slave for the gluttonous pigs in Brooklyn. Once we stop we have no cash value. A K Hell is real estate that can be cashed in.

Maybe a meeting for "field" service??

This mosque (ex kingdom hell) , or at least some of it members, has a bad reputation for recruiting IS-soldiers to Syria among muslim immigrants....maybe a bit more brutal than the JW field service?

Empty. Young ones eyes wide open, leaving as soon as they can escape.

    Good!

DisServ - I think there are parallels between the religious mindsets.

    Indeed it is!

This is almost surreal...this is a former KH in Sweden just some hours drive away

DisServ - Yes, that is surreal. I'm glad that Jehovah(tm) looked after the building after it was dedicated to him.

    Designer Stubble:

"So growth of the organization is not keeping up with the population growth."

In all fairness that might be because of immigration combined with a low birth rate amongst Australians. If immigrants have a proportionally low number of JWs then they're not replenishing their numbers through that type of increase.

But why would Witnesses not likely be immigrants? Because of the disproportionate amount of poverty in that religion. Poor people, who have no skills or anything to offer to the country, aren't likely to be accepted by picky Immigration officers.

There is also a disproportionate number of elderly people in the JWs and they're also not likely to be accepted as citizens due to their becoming a burden to the nation.

Canada might be a similar country in that respect. I heard that it's enormously difficult for anyone to immigrate there if they're over 40. Canadian officials also skew their immigrants based on whether their professionals or businessmen.

Vil id - Once the WBT$ can't get money or value from you, they cast you away. But there are a lot of the old guard still at the meetings. The youngsters are leaving - the cult has nothing to offer them apart from carrying microphones around the hall.

During the Royal Commission hearings, Geoffrey Jackson became momentarily animated when he excitedly disclosed that JW organiization does not have Sunday Schools or youth programs.

He mentioned this aspect of JW life as if it were a virtue.

But it did nicely raise the question - unfortunately not asked - What the hell do you offer your young ones? Little wonder they leave as soon as they can or fade.
