Laura Nyro ( the singer and writer of the song you posted Brown Earth, on the, "Christmas and the Beads of Sweat" album, Columbia 1970 ) born Laura Nigro she wrote for the Band; The "Blood Sweat and Tears (And When I Die, originally by LauraNyro), which is the name of Winston Churchill's famous speech given May 13, 1940 as newly appointed British Prime Minister . Her work; Mother ES, Spiritual was featured on the walls of the Chicago Peace Museum where in Chicago Winstons Churchill's wife worked as a medical researcher and they resided at one time.
