    Good King Wenceslas
    Good King Wenceslas looked out,
    On the Feast of Stephen,
    When the snow lay round about,
    Deep and crisp and even;
    Brightly shone the moon that night,
    Tho' the frost was cruel,
    When a poor man came in sight,
    Gath'ring winter fuel.

    "Hither, page, and stand by me,
    If thou know'st it, telling,
    Yonder peasant, who is he?
    Where and what his dwelling?"
    "Sire, he lives a good league hence,
    Underneath the mountain;
    Right against the forest fence,
    By Saint Agnes' fountain."

    "Bring me flesh, and bring me wine,
    Bring me pine logs hither:
    Thou and I will see him dine,
    When we bear them thither."
    Page and monarch, forth they went,
    Forth they went together;
    Thro' the rude wind's wild lament
    And the bitter weather.

    "Sire, the night is darker now,
    And the wind blows stronger;
    Fails my heart, I know not how,
    I can go no longer."
    Mark my footsteps, good my page;
    Tread thou in them boldly:
    Thou shalt find the winter's rage
    Freeze thy blood less coldly."

    In his master's steps he trod
    Where the snow lay dinted;
    Heat was in the very sod
    Which the saint had printed.
    Therefore, Christian men, be sure,
    Wealth or rank possessing,
    Ye who now will bless the poor,
    Shall yourselves find blessing.

    this one's purty, especialy when sung by a choir:

    O holy night, the stars are brightly shining;
    It is the night of the dear Saviors birth!
    Long lay the world in sin and error pining,
    Till He appeared and the soul felt its worth.
    A thrill of hope, the weary soul rejoices,
    For yonder breaks a new and glorious morn.

    Refrain

    Fall on your knees, O hear the angel voices!
    O night divine, O night when Christ was born!
    O night, O holy night, O night divine!

    Led by the light of faith serenely beaming,
    With glowing hearts by His cradle we stand.
    So led by light of a star sweetly gleaming,
    Here came the wise men from Orient land.
    The King of kings lay thus in lowly manger,
    In all our trials born to be our friend!

    Refrain

    Truly He taught us to love one another;
    His law is love and His Gospel is peace.
    Chains shall He break for the slave is our brother
    And in His Name all oppression shall cease.
    Sweet hymns of joy in grateful chorus raise we,
    Let all within us praise His holy Name!

    Refrain

    Incense... Thank you so much for printing out the lyrics to "O Holy Night". It is my favourite Christmas Carol, but I'd forgotten the words and could only do the la-la thing. Now, thanks to you, I'll be able to actually sing the song. LOOK OUT WORLD!!

    Incence Incense and Alfie (mmmm, kinda has a ring), I agree that Holy Night is a beautiful carol. But, Good King Wenceslas is a classic, also, with a nice story ending and a lesson for us all.

    Edited to correct the spelling of Incense's name.

    Windchaser: I will definitely agree with you on Good King Wencaslas, it is a very touching story and lesson. It is, I believe the Christmas message in song. Hey we should get a choir together and sing carols in front of WBTS headquarters. Then we might see their Christian principles in action.
