    Hello All,
I a 31 year old former JW/MS who left the Org about two years ago.
I have since enrolled in school to obtain a degree.
I'm interested in possibly relocating to California to attend Law school and need some help in identifying areas to try to establish residence.
Any help/information concerning would be very much appreciated.

I snapped this photo from my balcony last night.(Yes.. that is the Pacific Ocean) I live in Central California and it is beautiful here. The only draw back is the high cost of living. I know this area and some parts of Northeren Calif. (Bay Area) Feel free to e-mail me if you have any questions.

    BTW...Welcome!!

If you can get accepted into Stanford, you can write your own ticket anywhere after you graduate. UCLA has an excellent law school and so does the University of San Diego. The latter is a private school, but well respected. USC has lost some of its shine in the academic world, and it is also a private school.

Unless you are loaded with money, I would suggest you establish California residency before attending, though. It will cost two to three times as much in tuition if you are an out-of-state student.
