Could some one post the annual report from the Jan 1 WT?

There was a 3% increase in average publishers in USA this is up 2% from last year, 1% increase in Britain, Australia, New Zealand, Spain, Italy.

Canada was up 1% from last year

2% in France last year was -2%

6% in Russia last year was 4%

0% Japan

Worldwide there was an increase of 2.8% (up on 1.7% last year).

Memorial attendance was 8,760 up 30 from last year.

Number baptized last year: 263,431, this year: 265,469.

Bible studies worldwide are up 7.9%.

Actually I have not seen a Watchtower in years. I got that from a post from Bill Bowen on silentlambs site. He says he's posting a scanned copy, I'll ask him when he's planning on doing that then I'll bring it over here.

Kent has stopped updating his site and Norway is seeing an increase.
Too bad. ;-)

Well, just kidding. But I expected a higher increase due to Sep 11th in 2001 (inactive JW in fear being reactivated) and due to the 15-min-arrangement.

I guess 2003 will be a bad year for the WTS.

I have a question for many years which even my JW friends wonder about. They notice the strangeness but, like me, just shrugged it off. Well, now I'm asking. :)

Why are so called 'lands' treated independently. For example, Alaska and Hawaii are treated as their own 'land' but not as USA. And the numbers for USA do not include the numbers for Alaska and Hawaii.

(Oddly enough, even the addresses of their branch offices are oddly written in the publications - with the zip code first then the address. So strange!)

The WTS quotes more lands and islands where the preaching work is done there are nations which you can look-up in any encyclopedia.

Very strange. Anyone have any idea why???
