Perhaps the closest he came to prophesying anything right, is ‘His baby’ [The Watchtower] grown up.

    THE TERM "BABYLONISH

The word Babylonish, as we have frequently pointed out, signifies confusion. Not confusion as respects organization, for the various departments of Babylon, its various denominations, have very strict organizations that permit of no confusion whatever. Babylon's confusion is in her doctrines, which are unscriptural, confusing, contradictory, many of them erroneous. WT 3/15 1906 p92

I say nearly right as many should read ALL. FF

And interestingly, every doctrine that originated with and is unique to the Watchtower Society is extra-biblical; the speculation of men.

I do give the WT credit for teaching strong morals and a focus on the Kingdom. It seems like only in the last decade or so is there a revival in mainstream Christian thought of the Kingdom and, even more importantly, a Kingdom on Earth. Now, how we get to 2 hopes instead of the one hope is where they go off the rails. Well, one of the areas.

The Closest Russell came to predicting something accurately was when he predicted that the Jews would rein-habit Palestine and reclaim it as Israel.

he predicted this in the late 1800's through the early 1900's

The Pharisees taught strong morals as well; a source of genuine pride and superiority. Unfortunately, many of their moral teachings went beyond what was written, often to the detriment of the common rank and filers of the day who were blind to their hypocrisy.

    LAWFOL,

Wasn't this prediction made with the view that Armageddon in 1914 would lead to re-establishment of the kingdom centered in Jerusalem with the ancient worthies at the helm?
