Apart from their own babies, do jws ever preach places where no one's heard of Jesus - or is it always about preaching another Jesus?

I'm not sure I understand your question Paducan. Care to clarify?

Well, there seems to be a mission of preaching the word throughout the world, but have they ever been anywhere that people haven't already heard of Jesus ?

I think they probabaly have at times. Their real M.O. is to bash other christian religions and steal their members.

There are a number of African languages whose first printed material was published by WTS but I think that most had previously heard of Jesus.

Ah Yes! of course the Watch Tower has gone where Jesus was never preached. Or do you not know the prophesy that they fullfill at Mathew 23:15 & I quote from THEIR bible
"Woe to you scribes & pharisees because you traverse sea & dry land to make one proselyte & when he becomes one you make him a subject for Gehenna twice as much so as yourselves"
Thats what they have done in SO many places........

I had heard of Jesus, but the first time I heard of JWs was in 1958. Had I never heard of them at all, I really wouldn't have missed that much.

Mouthy, I've have heard that scripture but I wouldn't have thought it necessary that the proselytised had never heard of Jesus - perhaps the particular proselytism.
Does no one have evidence that jws have been first to go somewhere and preach Jesus ?
I think that would be a good point of refute for anti-jwists, because the wts claims to be the only ones doing it, whereas in fact the seed was already planted.
I remember praying for a friar at my school who was going to the highlands in New Guinea for first contact with people to tell them about Jesus.
Does anyone know of jw work like that ? I've never seen anyone present anything published on it.
