Nilfun, it saddens me that those of you wo grew up JWs never got Christmas presents. Even those of us who grew up out of the JWs never got what we wanted all the time. I guess sometimes, Santa just didn't listen.
Even though I raised daughters, I would sometimes get them presents that were as much for me as for them.
I see you having some of the best presents now, though. You have two lovely babies and a wonderful husband. Therre are no rules that you cannot also play with their toys and enjoy yourself.
I hope you and your family have a very enjoyable Christmas.

How did I know? Well, I'm 54 and still get down on the floor and play with my grandsons and their toys too. Sometimes, I let them play with them too

OMG that easybake oven brought back old memories. I remember thinking "How is that lightbulb suppose to bake a cake?"
But it actually did!. Of course the cake was actually a cookie, but still.

Plmkrzy, I never did get an EasyBake of my own...I didn't realize that a lightbulb did all the cooking till years later! LoL...

I'm buying Christmas gifts for a couple of the girls at work, and some ex-JWs who are celebrating the holidays this year for the first time in 25 years.............maybe we should all send christmas cards to our local elders as well as the Governing Body members.
