Some youths have actually been corrupted by the WT society.
No one can spot a phony like a kid can.
Stressed, repressed, stifled by the rank air of hypocrisy that
wafted through their kingdom halls, with nowhere to go to be accepted
for who they were, these JW kids went sour.
They formed their own gangs.
Ever heard of the "JW Crips"? Don't laugh. This sh*t is for real.
The JW Crips couldn't stand the other JW kids who were
more successful in leading double lives. The JW Crips felt that at least they
were keeping it "real" because didn't try to go all out trying to pass as "Theo".
Some who were only loosely affiliated with the JW gang culture had their
own lawless methods of "buying out the opportune time" to rebel.
They channeled their anger into playing pranks on some of the
stuffed shirts in the congregation; a potato in a car tailpipe here,
dishwashing liquid squirted all over a front lawn there, an unwrapped condom
hung on the doorknob of a particularly prude ministerial servant's front door,
prank calls, with the JW kiddie crime wave culminating in an almost unspeakable horror:
tacking a picture of the glam rock 'n' roll band Warrant to the front door of the very
ministerial servant who only days before had been terrorized by the condom-on-the-doorknob.
I could go on, but my fragile constitution will allow me to relate only so much.
I think you get the picture.
Yes, being raised JW turned them into juvenile delinquents. Some managed to
get out of the org and turn themselves around. Some got out, but still lead the
life of a criminal. Hey, old habits die hard. Unfortunately, some are still in the org,
serving in positions where they can wreak the greatest amount of havoc in the lives of
ordinary publishers. The climate they help to foster only serves to oppress a new
generation of JWs.
And so the ghastly cycle continues.
So, if you ever spy some JW kids doing the "pioneer crawl" in your neighborhood,
don't be surprised if they flash you the WESSIDE! hand sign. They are only
products of their environment.
