I wake to call of the small chickadee
outside my window goes chee,chee, chee
The sun is just rising and all seems so calm
The junco is flitting on the leaves of a palm
I pour my coffee and stand so quiet and still
I hope the shy wren will find seed on my sill
The wonder of nature and all beauty around
Starts my day with great joy keeps my feet on the ground.
Well, I just had to express my morning moods. I love mornings and most people don't. I have time to put my thoughts together and prepare for anything.
