Unlike the wt would have you believe, "perfect" is not the same as "fine" (another one for my jw-english dictionary). The graven image is the one that is made and moulded to be "fine" (finished) - and it's serious and hard - but it's dead.
To Love it's an abomination, as Love is living, tentative ('tent living'), growing and moving - the very meaning of life. Why chip away at the rock to make an image? Is it to avoid fearing what is not seen, instead of actively fearing and living the Adventure?
No serious images for me thanks - and certainly not that judge looking guy on the space throne.
