stuckinarut2, I am so sorry for your loss. My own brother, 15 months younger than I, died in a freak accident at home last May 23.
It may sound trite, but what helps me cope is the way our loved ones can live on in our hearts and minds. Whenever we think of them and recall the good times we enjoyed in their company, they are not truly gone. In a sense, they are still right here with us, bringing us joy and calling to mind what we meant to each other and the love we shared. Past hurts usually fade quickly with time, but the love remains.
