They are a corporation in the U.S., a charity group in U.K. and was a cultural group in Mexico until they got a tax break. What else are they in different parts of the world? Or in how many countries is the WTS registered as a religion? Does anyone know?
Come to think of it, other religious groups never recognize themselves as corporations. I mean we all know how rich the Mormons are, but they always call themselves as The Church of J.C. Latter Day Saints, not the LDS Inc. Catholics are Catholics, and Baptists are Baptists. But the WTS is The Watchtower Bible and Tract Society Inc. in this country.
