Here are a couple of contributions to this task:

2 Tim 3:1 yet have resolved perception of this, during the age of finality existence shall be marked by fierceness and peril

John 1:1....By origin stood the sayings of God also the moral precepts given by God,taught with regard to God,likewise the teaching embodies the idea taught refering to the things of God....

    Anyone have any other ideas?

How are you coming up with these renderings? It appears to me that you may simply be rendering the literal word-for-word translation of the Greek text into sentences. Obviously, English is not structured identically to Greek, so that sort of rendering is hard to understand to the English reader. True translation renders the ideas into understandable language.

    G'day Cygnus,

(you ol' revisionist ;) Me thinks that if yer gonna go mess'n with the big black book yer might start at the begining or even earlier. I mean Genesis 1:0 - "In the Begining God got lonely" might be a good start

I started translating the bible into Australian so we could all understand it but gave up when Eve told Adam to "piss off out the kitchen or she'd stick her apple pie up his pathetic lazy date" .. geez translat'ns hard (the bad memories can drive a bloke down the pub or worse)

unclebruce prefers his English simple and poetically correct.
