  Just like whitewashed graves they appear beautiful on the outside, but inside they are full of corruption and decay. Jesus denounces them in Matt. 23 .

  After I read about the stock the WTBS has with the Navy, it just makes me sick at what hypocrites they truly are. They are the modern day Pharisee class, full of hypocrisy and pride.

  #1- The Pharisees that prayed in the temple, said he was not like other men, not HUMBLE.

  #2- Prided themselves on being righteous, above others looking down on others therefore SELF RIGHTEOUS.

  #3- They loved money, and desired prominence and flattering titles. GREED

  #4- Their application of the law was burdensome, adding traditions of of man. BEYOUND WHAT IS WRITTEN.

  #5- One of their main issues they contended with Jesus was his association with sinners and tax collectors. SHUNNING

  #6- Matt 23:3, "Therefore all the things they tell you, do and observe, but do not do according to their deeds, for they say but do not perform." HYPOCRITES

  Can you think of any other parallels with the Pharisees and the WTBS?

  I am sure this list could go on forever, and even the WT has surpassed the Pharisees in their evil and unloving deeds. How will the WT go down for what it has done to those who wanted to have a relationship with Jesus,but because of their lies and hypocrisy ?

  Let's see,

  The GB members are (to use one of the THEIR favorite words) the "Antitypical" Pharisees because.....
  

  • They mis-apply the entire parable of the FDS to set themselves up as mediators to God when in fact Jesus Christ is the mediator.
  
  
  • They conduct their own "tribune" to falsely acuse people like Bill Bowen and Barbara Anderson who have the courage to show them up for what they really are.
  
  
  • "They say, but do not perform. They bind up heavy loads and put them upon the shoulders of men, but they themselves are not willing to budge them."   • "Blind guides who strain out the gnat but gulp down the camel." (Mt:23:24) They speak out against harmless observances such as Thanksgiving, mother's day etc. but yet allow a confessed pedophile to go about without reporting it to the the police or making a an anouncement to warn other congregation members.
