In the last few months, quite a few movies have inspired Americans to want to be heroes. It almost seems uncanny, coming in the wake of 9-11. A good example is The Sum of all Fears:
I haven't seen that one yet. But, after watching Spiderman recently, I noticed that I was not alone in feeling a sense of awe and courage. People left the theatre with beaming faces, no doubt feeling inspired. So my question is this:
Why did practically everyone leave their trash on the ground as they exited?
It's not just hoodlum youth in the inner cities who jeopardize our communities. What about the doctors, lawyers, businessmen, etc who do not care to pick up their own unfinished popcorn?
