Watchtower Simplified Edition, September 2015, "Is Your Conscience a Reliable Guide:"

A branch office or the local congregation elders do not have the authority to make medical decisions for a Christian, even if he asks what to do. (Galatians 6:5) However, the elders can share what Jehovah says in order to help a Christian make a wise decision. For example, God has commanded us to keep abstaining from blood. (Acts 15:29) This command clearly helps a Christian to understand that he cannot accept medical treatments that involve taking in whole blood or any of its four major components.

    ---------

First question-- Where does the Bible say anything at all about the four major components of blood?

And what about cow blood ? (the Liason committee has approved its use)

Oh. I see. The elders can't tell a person what to do concerning medical treatments involving blood.

    But...GOD can.

And in Watchtower land, God=Watchtower. "What Jehovah says" = "What the WTS says"

And GOD not only tells the JWs what to do - God/WTS commands them.

the elders can share what Jehovah says in order to help a Christian make a wise decision.

Which is an out front lie, the elders are just there to reiterate what the GB heads say in deciding what a Christian should wisely do. The GB are the men in power and control in this organization, the elders are just subservient solders following the set directives established by the GB.

The GB are really professional spin doctors when comes to who giving directions in the Borg.

Jehovah never told anyone to go ahead and kill themselves over the dietary sacred law concern blood created by the ancient Hebrews.

Just for information , at the time the WTS leaders set this no blood policy (1942), they also proclaimed that receiving blood from another person would essentially let the givers sin and poor character attributes enter the receiver of that blood transfusion, so not only were the GB of the WTS weak in their bible theology they were also complacent idiots .

...at the time the WTS leaders set this no blood policy (1942),

    July, 1945.

The end of WW2 and the beginning of the JW blood bath.

70 years of human sacrifice to the Tower's Blood God. 70 years of medical research in bloodle$$ medicine using the JWs as guinea pigs.

I have a ER doctor friend who was raised a JW [he was in his mid teen's when he realized he needed no part of that future]. He told me every hospital room keeps the WBTS book on blood in the ER room. The reason was that it was used to educate the church goers as to what there own policies with blood because it save vast amounts of valuable time and arguing due to the ignorance of their own church policies. Prior to the book the whole emergency room was put on hold until the patient consulted with their church elders. The readers of this site are well aware of the problems of conversing with the 'faithful', the doctors are very thankful that the blood procedure book has alleviated that problem for them.

I may have jumped back a little on that time but here is one useful time line concerning blood and the JWS.

Isn't it funny, elders can't tell a person what to do, but they can DF them if they make the wrong decision (according to their opinion) about blood.

but they can DF them if they make the wrong decision (according to their opinion) about blood.

But again the point is the elders are not expressing their opinions its the WTS's leaders opinion, they are positioned enforcers of the GB opinions..........and their lawyers of course and thats why the blood ban will remain, unlike the no vaccinations reversal.
