The National Center for Missing and Exploited Children can use poster volunteers. It's a small effort on our part but makes a huge impact.
Go to http://www.ncmec.org/ - click on "How Can I Help" link on the left, then click on "Join our Poster Partner Program"
It's really quite easy - they'll send you flyers via e-mail to print out when a child is reported missing from your area/region. I get about 10 a week. Simply print them out and post them at your local supermarket, 7-11, wherever you go on shopping/errands/etc.
I went to the management at each store first to explain that I was a volunteer and asked if I could periodically post new flyers - I haven't had one store turn me down.
Just thought I'd pass this along - it's a small way that we could all contribute to help children.
