I'm sure most people heard about this story that broke yesterday.

Of couse the governing body would never encourage the brothers to go to unsafe areas like Detroit or israel. Sadly the brothers would believe it if the governing body told them drinking cyanide was safe.

Weren't the people killed, rabbis and a policeman at a synagogue? Wouldn't that rule out jws?

With the uncanny skill that the WTS has shown over the past 130 years, they have prophesied that Israel will be safe when the JWs descend to spread their gospel next spring.

Surely the GB, with their direct pipeline to God, wouldn't screw that up, would they?

Try spreading the 'Gospel' in an Orthodox Jewish neighborhood someplace, see how it goes over.....

    Sir82 - don't misunderestimate the GB's prophesying ability.

Seriously, if they do believe Israel is safe for the preaching work, what next? Pioneering in Mecca?

I wonder if any of the governing body are going to take the lead in the preaching?

The GB also said it was safe to continue to hold meetings in the Philipines during the last typhoon that rolled through. 19 JWs paid with their lives for following that sage advice when the KH was destroyed while the meeting was in progress.

I swear; it's gotten to the point where you're better off doing the opposite of anything the WTS says...

It might be safe--for tourists. I did research on this, since with Saturn headed for Sagittarius, there is the danger of being forced back into the cancer and being forced under lawsuit and/or Seroquel threats to go. In places like Tel Aviv, it isn't too bad. You get a high percentage of tourists, and the local jokehovians go door to door there. Dress code in Tel Aviv is not that much of an issue. The conditions there are not that much worse than in parts of Europe, though I still do not recommend going.

But, try going into Jerusalem. There, you run into all the orthodox, and they are likely to do horrible things. Persecution is the least of your worries if you place anything with a rabbi, as is getting caught in an act of violence from Palestine (which, by the way, is retaliatory violence). You place something with a rabbi of high enough rank, you risk that thing using black magick on you (or the whole human race) using that item as a link. You have sex deprivation, the rabbis place a curse on the whole population that, globally, ALL sex is rape and that artificial insemination is how children are brought (and, they are handed to same-sex parents to be raised). You are a victim of tyranny, they place a curse where no one gets away with anything--the tiniest mistake results in harsh penalties for everyone. You are poor, they curse everyone in the world to be poor. With a stupid waste of paper.

And, it doesn't happen that day or that week. They wait for the planets to line up. A health curse might, for instance, be placed when Mars square Saturn in the right sign. The "All sex is rape" working is likely to start March 26, 2016 when Jupiter square Saturn and Jupiter is in Virgo (the sign of celibacy). Poverty workings might begin when Saturn in Capricorn goes opposite Venus and/or the Sun in Cancer. Remember, the rabbis know what they are doing, and when to start these workings. You might get ballyhooed (of course, joke-hova gets all credit so don't think you are going to be a hit with the opposite sex because you placed littera-trash with high-ranking rabbis). But, they will use black magick on the whole human race using that littera-trash as the link.

And you thought merely getting shot, pepper sprayed, a dog sicced on you, or bombed with a stray rocket meant for a synagogue was the biggest thing to worry about? Not to mention, if you go (EVEN JUST TEL AVIV), you need to watch out that you are not amplifying the curse on mankind that the LIE-ble is carrying by going to the source of that curse and spreading it there. Far worse than just a rocket impact.

Great idea. Next International Convention in Mecca.
