Cream of butternut squash soup with garlic bread croutons and a good red wine. A little gruyere cheese grated on the piping hot soup. Yes, I am a partaker and will be going to heaven.

Sorry, I ate the props, but if you Google images of Butternut squash soup you get the idea.
Next time, we are going to make cream of cauliflower. I will try to remember pics.

BTW, cream of cauliflower soup is delicious with a teaspoon of horseradish cream added at the blending stage.

Now you're talking. Creamy fish chowder, and a best bitter would do just fine. Crusty french bread for dipping, if you so desire.

The wine goes into the cook and partakers (annointed only of course) not the soup.
Wouldn't start the job without a couple of fifths of Cabernet on hand for the guests.
