Here is something I've always wondered. REACHING OUT: who needs it? It is a trap, as if the rest wasn't. But this is further slavery beyond the 1st level of slavery. If one were 'off enough' to either 'stick around' or 'go back', why put up with the additional rubbish and requirements???
Remember two things: go for the $$$'s and you will make the right decisions about your JW career. Also, don't go back to the KH without your 'Spiritually Weak & PROUD OF IT' tee shirts.

Things to "Reach Out" for....
Jumping up and down out of your seat to change the position of the microphone everytime a there is a change of speakers
Running around the KH holding a microphone in front of people listening to canned answers all night.
Passing out litter-ature.
Ensuring that the appropriate KH melody is queued up. (should be pretty tough since they're on CD now)
Ushering people to their seat (preferably up front where almost no one but the die-hards want to be) before the meeting starts.
Guiding cars into appropriate parking spaces in the lot.
Watching the parking lot. (Wouldn't want anyone posting apostate literature on automobiles)
Reading the bookstudy assignments.
Ensuring that the congregation lawn is properly mowed or otherwise cared for.
