There was a recent thread talking about how the Watchtower American English in the babble Comics, often gets kids losing marks in school.

One of the posters said that he was a spanish speaker, and when he reads the Comics and other litterature, it is actually unlike any normal spanish he has ever read. I don't speak spanish, so would like to have some examples, preferably funny. Any takers?

I served in a spanish speaking country for a while. Gave talks in spanish etc... I have lost a lot of it now, but I don't remember anything particularly odd. "Theocratic spanish" is a term I have heard used. But its just abit more formal and includes words not normally used that are specific to the religion.
