I bet the WT will cherry-pick the odd quote from this, and ignore the bulk of it that contradicts their wacky Theology.
I would love to have the money to splash out on this, and many other books I would like to own. I guess this little beauty is well in excess of $200 ??

My friend (also XJW) once bought for hundreds of dollars, a recommended Bible publication, for another friend who had been assigned as a WT writer. This was on one of those more liberal swings by the Bible scholars who run JW inc.
Many months on the roundabout cycle, the WTS told this 'writer' he should NOT use that publication anymore.
Since my friend was always hard-pressed financially (having been one of those idiots who'd been a pioneer) he was rather pissed at that turn of events. But then, maybe that was the beginning of his exit, so it may have been a cheap price in the end. When you do something good for someone you're not always certain how the karmic reward comes back to you.
