a misprint is in tonight's bible reading. Wouldn't you know I have the Bible reading assignment. Wish I could think of a way to point it out to all of the cognitively dissonant people.

Read the misprint and then say "I'm sure that's a misprint" as if talking to yourself and then immediately carry on with the reading.
what is the misprint, please? and
of course wt had to drop the comments for the bible readers, that was too much like Jesus' performance at the synagogue. to much like Jesus period.
Comments that might infuriate the leaders as suggested by WMF, doing it surreptiously.
It's just the chapter numbers on the top of the page. It was fixed in time for the Large Print edition.
When I worked on AID TO BIBLE UNDERSTANDING one of the running heads was off register. I sent it back and the printed result was "Bablyon the Great."

Yes indeed!
As boasted about during the grand annual general meeting release of the new bible: "god obviously kept the temperature and weather conditions perfect for book binding blah blah"
Oh, but he didnt ensure that basic proof reading took place!
Shame there is no longer any into comments allowed!
I would have invited everyone to open to the right page and said "oh, be careful finding the page bros and sis, the running head isn't quite accurate.... Now I'll start reading fom verse...."
I always enjoyed the NWT heading "John beheaded, 5000 fed."
Back in those days, a head went much further and not a shred was ever wasted. Three cheers to frugally feeding the masses, thanks to John.
