With all of the hype about being "taught by Jehovah's organization" making witnesses "the most educated people on the planet" etc... I have been thinking about a simple definition:
Education = exposure, information and lessons from varying sources designed to allow the student to form a healthy conclusion.
Indoctrination = limited information from one selective source with only one opinion available as the "correct conclusion"
Hmmm....sound familiar??
That is the problem with Cults, from the biggest cult of all, Islam, down to the smallest, with JW's being towrds the end of the list, no cult truly educates.
Real Education, as one will get if fortuanta enough to attend a proper University, involves Questioning Everything.
Cults Hate Questions.
Education shows you how to think – even asks you to think.
Propaganda tells you what to think.
