A 35-year-old man was arrested Tuesday after he was accused of molesting an underaged girl that he met at a Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses.

Michael Robert Paigo, of Clermont, is also accused of trading inappropriate texts and pictures with the child.

Paigo was charged with two counts of lewd and lascivious battery on a person between 12 and 16 years old and remained in the Lake County jail Wednesday in lieu of $10,000 bail.

The girl’s age was crossed out on a redacted probable cause arrest affidavit but it does state that she is in high school.

According to the affidavit, the two met at the Kingdom Hall late 2013 and started texting and calling each other.

The girl said they kissed and sexually touched each other on two occasions.

It is not clear how law enforcement discovered the relationship, but in a phone call secretly recorded by officials, Paigo allegedly talks about his “deep friendship feelings” for her and saying “just talking about them things could put me in jail.”

Paigo is also recorded as saying they “shouldn’t be engaging in that stuff” since she wanted to be baptized.

The affidavit adds during an interview with law enforcement, Paigo admitted to “inappropriate texting and pictures” between the two.

In three different Kingdom Halls I saw the Witnesses rally to the cause of the Pedophile Perp, it's truly a Paradise for Pedophiles because you can get "Marked" for telling the rest of the Kingdom Hall "Hey, we got a Pedophile in our Congregation so you better keep your children safe because the Elders are doing a horrible job of keeping the Pedophiles from touching young children!"

The Watchtower has no conscience, they tell Pedophiles they must go and preach from door-to-door putting their neighbors at risk, I would rather risk the Wrath of God (actually the Mercy of Jesus Christ) than have Pedophiles come near my children! The Leaders of the Jehovah's Witnesses, the Elders and Watchtower Top Brass are Wicked Men who put their own needs above the good of the Whole Community! Do you think they care if one of their Pedophile Pioneers rape's a young child, they will be in the Court room telling the Judge, "The Eight Year Old Girl must have seduced our dear brother, don't punish him Judge!"

"PEDOPHILE PARADISE 4U, JUST TYPE IN JW.ORG TO LOCATE A HANG OUT NEAR YOU!

If he's not an elder or MS, they'll just say: "That doesn't count. He was never really a Jehovah's Witness."

They can say he wasn't really a jw because he wasn't baptized (though he could have been since his statement at some point) and it will be enough for jw's, however, for the rest of the world it doesn't matter because if you go to the kh every week or even identify as being a jw baptism or not the world will identify you as a jw. It is only with jw's that the actual baptism matters so much.
