I'm curious if you ever heard back from Stark in response to your specific questions about his video at jw-media.org? I read his article pretty carefully, and it seemed rather objective, although there were a few minor mistakes.
However, his thesis seemed to be that the JWs will continue to grow at 4%. I hope he doesn't have a vested interest in this; after all, his theory contains reasons why the JWs might cease growing. It seems to me that either way, the JWs would present an interesting study from him.
I wonder what he will make of the Dateline program - hopefully he knows about. That should put him in quite a sticky situtaion especially if the press, e.g., the Seattle press (since he's at Univ of Wash) take an interest in the subject.
