I went to Alexa.com to see some stats on JW.org. For some reason it still mentions it as watchtower.com but I'm sure that'll be updated at time.

    Two funny statistics I noticed.

    1. Education of people visited: Most had no college or very little college that visited. Seems like that part is working in their favor.

    2. Sits visited immediately before JW.org

    Google

    Facebook

    Yahoo

    Youtube.

That can't be good. You type JW or Jehovah Witnesses in any of them and you are flooded with info they don't want you to see.

Where do they go next? I don't have the upgraded version but that'd be interesting to see...

PS is there a way to spell check with the blog format? Thanks!

Compare that to the lds.org (Mormon) site. A little more educated audience.

How the heck does Alexa know the education level of people who visited?

They check the search terms of people who can't spell in Googles search with terms like:

    jw.ogg

    jw.borg

    jw.ugg

    jw.rugg

    who.shot.jr

    windowclean.cloth

    bj.porn.hub.

    etc..

    From the horse's mouth:

    Audience Demographics
The audience demographics data comes from voluntary demographics information submitted by people in our global traffic panel. The data is for the past 12 months, updated monthly. Learn more

    The demographics data consists of:

    • Gender, education, browsing location - available to everyone.
    • Age, income, ethnicity and children - only available to subscribers of the Alexa Pro Insight or Advanced plans.

    Audience Geography
The audience geography data describes where visitors to this site over the past month are located, and how the site is ranked in popular countries. If a country is not listed, it is because Alexa does not have enough data for this site to rank/measure the site's popularity among that country's online population. These metrics are updated monthly.
