I realize there are ones who know it's not the truth and

    they are stuck, family.

As we go through life, we sometimes have the furtune to encounter

people who are similar to ourselves in some respects, but older

than we are at the present. The most extreme fools are people

whose age should have made them wise, but no. Age 50 and older

you should have learn something about life, right.

Unless you live in a commune all your life I understand, but

50 and older as a JW and you haven't learn nothing about life.

I believe there is a large number of older people in the borg that

    know it's BS>>

my mum is 62 and has been jw all her life, my gran longer. If she thought about it in any depth she'd see the cracks after so many disappointments. The problem is all my family have forfeited this life for the promise of a better one. There is actually no point the older family members leaving. Psychologically they couldn't handle life without it.

old fools would be foolish to give up the folly.

    if bliss that counts.

New Worldly: I agree, "Psychologically they couldn't handle life without it".

It's the same in my family. I hope the younger ones don't follow suit.

jam, it was just a more general statement. I am certainly old and could not cope with the more clearly defined reality sometimes presented here.

so in jest I sometimes say: "I know I am am nuts, and I hugely enjoy every second of it."

is not genius separated from madness by a homeopathic amount of hormone?

with less flexibility, energy are not old people less able to act on their wisdom in time?
