I noticed a small article in today's New York Times that an atheist cable channel is preparing to launch. The author mentioned what believers might fear from an atheist channel and noted that such channels, causing grief to believers, already exist and flourish. Its preliminary content will focus on Richard Dawkins films and convention content. (Ouch at convention). They will counter ghosts from the History Channel, etc. The channel will counterbalance all the religious content that we probably accept without thinking. If dogs and Sarah Palin have their own channels, atheists should have one chaannel.
I neglected to see a start date or even an official channel name. The producers could pull content from this site.
