Has anyone offered the theory that WTS membership in the UN was fulfilling Matt. 24:15, and that consequently the FDS began to turn into the evil slave?

I think I've heard this one before but it seems a little far fetched to me.

But when the Faithful Slave parable is about individual Christians being either faithful or unfaithful in their stewardship, it just has nothing to do with the Watchtower, the GB, or the UN.

A number of people have offered that theory. If JWs did have a valid Kingdom ministry, then that might apply. If one is exposing the League of Nations as Daniel and Revelation prophecy, then the UN 1945 placement as Revelation prophecy again, then ignores the rest of the subsequent UN activity (like 1990), and joins the UN instead as a UN NGO, then that would definitely be suspect.

Either way a UN NGO is a co-promotional organization to support the UN Organization and it's objectives. The UN does not admit UN NGOs for "library card" needs, they screen applicants for suitability and demographic penetration into the global audience of the UN NGO, and they always have taken such agreements and endorsements seriously, unlike Bethel. Not just anyone or group can become a UN NGO, or Programme affilate.

So it seems Bethel conveniently "lost track" of UN activity since 1945, and that too meets the objective of the UN to downplay such negative press. So in effect the UN NGO is just the tip of the iceberg, Bethel also has a UN disinformation campaign (as far as prophecy is concerned) going on where the first two UN "placements" are now just white noise to JWs. And that aids the world government mission, the less people know, the better for the UN culmination. But it takes another 10 years or so to actually achieve world government. The entire UN structure and charter already has the world government schematic in place in every avanue of imagineable influence.

Bethel is just one egg in the whole chicken farm the UN owns.

Technically, only sovereign states can "join" or be a member of the UN.

BUT the WTS did associate with the UN as a nongovernmental organization (NGO).
