I have watched the movie Divergent.
wow what an amazing film that highlights the value of not just conforming or accepting what is put in front of us!
The parallels to "the truth" are amazing!

Due to time constraints, the movie leaves out much of the critical information that is in the book series.
Save your money; read the books.

Yes I saw it. Good movie, but it could have been better. You are right about categorizing people to further control them being a bit like the Borg.

I have learned i do myself a disservice if I compare a book to a movie.
I also spoil an otherwise excellent chance to appreciate a story from a different perspective.
I really like the way Divergent was handled. It was serious rather than a puffed up action film cashing in on the Hunger Games popularity.
It had gravitas.
i too could feel the parallel with the Watch Tower Society.
I like what David Fincher said about House of Cards, an expanded time can bring movies up on par with great literature, but with a 2 hour limit
a great injustic is done.
I've learned to take each venue for itself alone--otherwise it makes me irritated and what good does that do me?
