I do believe in fact most are willingly following the WT policy on Blood. As an Elder, I was called on more than once by the victim to help assure the Brothers on the Hospital Liaison Committee were doing their job and to assure the Doctor knew we were watching.
Most do agree and accept the WT policy (as I did, until I read Franz second book, ISOCF and realized it was rubbish). The point is this, all Jws can read and study the WT policy on Blood and accept it or leave as Dfd or DAd. So far, the overwhelming majority of Jws not only accept the WT policy on Blood, they defend it to the death. The rise in popularity in bloodless treatments and Bloodless Hospitals are one side affect.
Even if the wt Blood policy was reversed in its entirety today, and the taking of Blood became a matter of conscious, the overwhelming number of Jws WOULD still reject Blood.
I know of many ex JWs who still hold the Wt policy on Blood to this day......I still, inside, would only use Blood as the very last resort. Why? I think it is the WT drilling in my head all those years....even with the facts. However, I still choose!
J.R.Brown is a proven public liar.
If the Watchtower removes the expulsion/shunning for blood transfusions, being in the way of resulting stampede could be fatal.
The proof? The little girl in Canada. She goes before the judge and says she doesn't want one type of blood, but she'll accept a different blood therapy.
The incdulous judge asks: What's the difference?
She replies basically, that Watchtower says the other kind is okay.
I rest my case.

Good point. What about adult Jws who have the maturity of age to engage in objective thinking?
coersion is coersion, I don't care if you're 9 months, 9 years, or 90 years old.
I think involuntary transfusion is going to become the norm. As it should be until Watchtower changes.

THI:this is my "theory"
WT LAWYER #1: "those old guys are gonna have to get some "new light" on this blood policy thing, it's getting out of hand. The medical community is getting overwhelmed, we're going to end up in a major legal battle if this keeps up."
WT LAWYER #2: "are you nuts!?? the old guys can't get any "new light" on the policy now! no, it's way to late for that, that should've been done YEARS ago. Too many members have died now, if they have any major "new light," we'll REALLY open ourselves up to lawsuits from family members that lost loved ones."
WT LAWYER #1: "yea, you're right, not to mention the membership drop-off. no members, no recruits, no recruits, and we'll both end up out of a job.....and the money paid in lawsuits, talk about a paycut !"
WT LAWYER #2: "I got it, tell them to S-L-O-W-L-Y inject a "change" where a member won't be df'ed for submitting to a transfusion! This way the medical community can't hold the organization responsible, ultimately it was up to the member! We wash our hands of any responsibility.!"
WT LAWYER #1: "Brilliant! If it's not a df offense, just a sign of "weakness" to get a transfusion, we're not LIABLE!!! Just tell the old guys to NOT say that the policy's actually "changed," just that members won't be df'ed. don't make a big deal of it. We may just slide out of this potential mess too!!!!
That's their only way out, and the sooner the better. "Don't ask don't tell".
No matter what Watchtower says the bible says that god says, NOWHERE in the bible does it say that blood transfusion therapy is an ezpulsion/ shunning offense.
The United States Government gave JW's the right to go door to door. In return, they have blatantly and flagrantly sent known molesters to people's doors.
THANKS WATCHTOWER!!!
The least Watchtower can do in return for this immoral policy perpetrated on the public is to lower the social burden of the never ending constant court cases the blood doctrine causes (especially with minors)as well as stop the line of molesters at the doors.

Ernie Hobbs of Chilliwack, a Jehovah's Witness whose wife Daphine LeFrans Hobbs died during surgery in 1966, said Tuesday
he does not believe the reports about the church's change of heart.
''I haven't heard anything about this. It's not true.''
The church's decision follows decades of adverse publicity about adults and children who have died or come close to death
because of their faith.
Paul Gillies, spokesman for the Jehovah's Witnesses in Britain, said the church's teaching about blood has not changed and not
taking blood is still a ''core value'' of the religion.
''It is quite possible that someone who was under pressure on an operating table would take a blood transfusion because they
did not want to die. The next day they might say they regretted this decision. We would then give them spiritual comfort and help.
No action would be taken against them. We would just view it as a moment of weakness.''
