My JW family got that message a long time ago, ever since I told my old mum, bless her, "I can do what I like". They knew from then on I had taken total control of my own life with no regard to what the WT or JW's think.
The result has been a stand-off, they don't talk religion to me, and I am not supposed to say anything opposing their views. Which suits me, as they don't actually realise when I am slipping in stuff that will cause them increased Cognitive Dissonance, I make it all seem like innocent conversation. Tee Hee.

That was my favorite song when I was a teen. I remember singing it to myself when I got frustrated with trying to please everyone except for myself.
I just never had the courage to say it.
I think I will make it my theme song.
I also liked " I am an innocent man".
