Was getting some food when a U2 song came on. I'm not a huge fan but I like some of their songs. I noticed that the lyrics of their songs exude more emotion and spirituality that bland kingdom melodies.

The pastor at the church I go to loves U2. In a personal conversation, he was saying how one could experience God in many places. He mentioned as an example a U2 concert.

U2 is awesome, "Sunday Bloody Sunday", "In the Name of Love" and all the rest of Bono's music is awesome. I had a U2 T-Shirt I wore in 1982 (I think), back when they were kids, what a hell of a run U-2 has had, they have the staying power because they are what Music is all about! The entire band pours their heart in to each song, I saw them live in 2002, what a great band!

I agree that there is a spiritual message with U2. I love the band.

But let's be real. It does not take much to surpass the watchtower threashold of spirituality. I remember studying for the CPA exam and found that experience more spiritually uplifting than a watchtower study.
