  As an awakened, "still in" Witness, I especially ask fellow Witnesses to think about the following conclusions as to whether they are factually CORRECT or just rantings. Analyse these statements using your powers of reasoning, and what you KNOW is really ordered by the Governing Body in New York, and not by the Bible!

  1. There is no need for individual Witnesses to "study" or meditate on the Bible, because all the study & meditation has been done for you by a Writing Committee in Brooklyn. You only have to answer the questions for each paragraph written, and believe!

  2. There is no need for individual Witnesses to pray for Holy Spirit to understand either the Bible or the WT publications, because the brothers on the Writing Committee have ALREADY asked & received the H.S. necessary to reveal the understanding of the Bible - you can't have TWO lots of H.S. & two understandings!

  3. If a Witness discerns a clear Bible truth which conflicts with a teaching of the WTBTS, they must NOT speak of it to other Witnesses. To do so will at the very least result in them being 'marked' as a potential apostate or "independent thinker', and at worst, (if they persist in discussing it) disfellowshipped & shunned for "brazen conduct" by every Witness who knows them!

  4. We must NEVER independently examine the Org's doctrines with our friends/family. (KM Sept. 2007 Question Box)

  #4 is interesting, after my time, but pretty bold, makes you feel like a GB member is sitting in your living room, creepy.

  My experience with JW through raising up in the "truth", they really do not care what is written in Bible, but what organization say is written there. For them is the the organization the Noah ark necessary for survival. Everything else is unimportant even when it comes to have real relationship with God, because the association with the ark is a priority. Your last point is extremely true that NEVER independently examine the Org's doctrines with our friends/family. I remember that around 1980's the independent bible studies had cased, and from 1990 onward, the WT publication became the only acceptible to answer doctrine.

  I would have to say that they do encourage #1 and #2 with respect to individuals asking for HS to reach and accept the "correct" understanding of the Bible and consequently the WT. If ever one gets to #3 and #4, refer to steps 1 and 2 in order to avoid 3 and 4.

  READ THE BIBLE DAILY!! STUDY IT .MEDITATE ON IT, BE ABSORBED IN IT!!.......just do'nt come to your own conclusions, or we will throw your sorry ass out!

  Most JWs are lazy and don't want to bother with personal study, meditation, etc.

  I actually started reading the bible without jumping all over, I did this at the meeting also using the references to stay awake. I would have a question and would write it down and then do research....reading the bible that way can open your eyes to the flaws in the WTS doctrine.

  If you are not studious or you lack curiosity about the reasoning behind doctrines and policies, it is easy to adhere to the Watchtower's admonition to avoid independent thinking. That is why, of all those disfellowshipped over the decades, literally few in number meet that fate for questioning or speaking out against Watchtower doctrine or policies.

  It's interesting to ponder this: If personal apathy were a disfellowdhipping offense, the numbers kicked out would leave few remaining in the organization. That these people can continue to sleep walk their dreary way through meetings and not question the bleeding obvious speaks volumes about the dominance of personal apathy that embues the organization. It also augurs promisingly about the reduced likelihood that this organization will ever recover from the petering out of success of the door to door work in Western countries.If your faith does not burn in your belly, motovation to keep spreading it erodes over time. Apathy, not apostasy, is the Watchtower's number one trojan enemy.Long may your average Witness yawn and travel about aimlessly in his/her bored mind.

  The Governing Body in New York or executive editors of the Watchtower Corporation have one single agenda in mind

  and that is to teach people the organization's bible interpretations and understanding, which from a analytical

  perspective were doctrines that were mostly devised to attract attention to the organization's

  published literature, in spite of those doctrine being endeavors of misinformation.

  .

  This is how the organization has operated itself upon, there was no open critical debate within the Kingdom Halls or any Branches around the world.

  These corrupt doctrines professed by the WTS. heads are always under their own complete control and is the core

  reason why these doctrines were strenuously upheld for most of the life of the organization.

  .

  The core agenda of the WTS. is to proliferate its literature toward the public and to maintain the power structure

  of the organization itself and is also the reason for the exploitation and manipulation of people who eventually join

  the organization.

  .

  Its worthy to keep in mind that the financial life blood of this organization was for many years centered

  around the sales and distribution of the WTS. published goods, to a lesser extent now

  but that fact alone should be noted.
