I guess the question is when does the WTS interpret is the moment of time that a person enters the ark? In the flood account Noah and the rest entered 7 days before the rain started, a door shut by God and no one could leave. Is there such a correlation with the future they define?

I found very little about this specific that with the start of the GT, the destruction of Babylon the Great, that no one could get on. But a few words about staying inside and that only people that get inside and stay there will survive. I wonder if any jws will catch that this is new?

For the worshipers of Jehovah, his Christian witnesses, to get safely through that tribulation, their symbolic ark, the spiritual paradise, must remain, with them staying inside. In the deluge of Noah’s day the Garden of Eden or Paradise of Pleasure, from which Adam and Eve had been expelled, was destroyed. But what about the spiritual paradise of the remnant and the “great crowd”? Like Noah’s ark, it will survive the fiery “day of judgment.” The impending “great tribulation” from Jehovah God is not meant to destroy the spiritual paradise of His worshipers, who have striven to preserve their spirituality and Christian integrity. It is meant to destroy the unparadise-like worldly system of things. After the spiritual paradise has survived the “great tribulation,” the surviving worshipers of Noah’s God, Jehovah, will devote their efforts to restoring the literal paradise to the cleansed earth under the “new heavens” of God’s Messianic kingdom

If that idea takes root then it will allow for some of the Witnesses to drop out of field service. The Watchtower will no longer be able to guilt trip them by saying that if a single person does not get preached to and he dies at Armageddon then his blood will be on their hands.

They don't even understand the bible, the old gb's made up things without ever reading in context.

What the bible really says about the GT. In Revelation, when speaking about the congregations, those who have God's favor may be spared the ordeals that will come upon during the GT. The GT is to test those who aren't there yet, and give everybody one last chance to repent, change, etc.

The WT very slowly at times tries to teach what it says in context vs their own ideas on cherry picking scriptures then proclaims it as divine new light when it's been there if read in context clear as crystal all along. Then all the drones get excited that they are pointing out the obvious that they never bothered to try to read since they are taught satan will infiltrate their minds if they read the bible and develop any interpretation outside of the GB's.

Great catch, Sonny! Yeah, WTF are they even saying??? By "former" members, do they mean "inactive" members of Christendom?!?! Or do they mean converts to JWism, much like their weasel worded PR page???

    1) JWs are J-dumbs. They are the worst bible students and cannot distinguish what the ancient scrolls say from what the "Slave" says the ancient scrolls say.

    2) The "Slave" has no clue of what the future holds. They do, however, understand the need to keep the sheeple perpetually busy and dumbfounded.

    STFU and be blessed!!!!

Funny thing is that I don't know of any Christians that consider jw's as a 'Christian' religion. They don't get why the wt makes such statements like when the wt calls itself 'true Christianity'. I usually get, "so why do they think they are Christian?" hell if I know. Maybe if they say it often enough it will stick and they will get a break from society and not be considered a weirdo cult?

Hold on Blondie!!! There are no "prophetic dramas" unless the bible specifically says so!

How can there be an "anti-typical" Ark????

DD, bible writers refer to the flood/ark in many places, even Jesus.

(Matthew 24:36-42) 36 “Concerning that day and hour nobody knows, neither the angels of the heavens nor the Son, but only the Father. 37 For just as the days of Noah were, so the presence of the Son of man will be. 38 For as they were in those days before the flood, eating and drinking, men marrying and women being given in marriage, until the day that Noah entered into the ark; 39 and they took no note until the flood came and swept them all away, so the presence of the Son of man will be. 40 Then two men will be in the field: one will be taken along and the other be abandoned; 41 two women will be grinding at the hand mill: one will be taken along and the other be abandoned. 42 Keep on the watch, therefore, because YOU do not know on what day YOUR Lord is coming.

(Luke 17:26, 27) . . .Moreover, just as it occurred in the days of Noah, so it will be also in the days of the Son of man: 27 they were eating, they were drinking, men were marrying, women were being given in marriage, until that day when Noah entered into the ark, and the flood arrived and destroyed them all.

(Hebrews 11:7) . . .By faith Noah, after being given divine warning of things not yet beheld, showed godly fear and constructed an ark for the saving of his household; and through this [faith] he condemned the world, and he became an heir of the righteousness that is according to faith.

(1 Peter 3:19, 20) 19 In this [state] also he went his way and preached to the spirits in prison, 20 who had once been disobedient when the patience of God was waiting in Noah’s days, while the ark was being constructed, in which a few people, that is, eight souls, were carried safely through the water.

JWS have always said that God is the ultimate judge because only HE can read the heart and knows if a person is truly repentant. and therefore who is to know for sure.

It is interesting that back in 66CE after Gallus retreated from Jerusalem, Josephus records that prominent Jews abandoned Jerusalem like rats from a sinking ship, because these clever(Jews) merchants., businessmen and others (maybe religious) with vision-knew that the Romans would be back, with more legions, more weapons of war , more determination, and would ultimately destroy the city. So, these prominent non-Christian Jews also escaped the tribulation inside Jerusalem along with the Christians that fled to the Decapolis. However, only if these prominent Jews too went to the Decapolis area, would they have been able to survive the mass destruction of Jews in Judea and the surrounding towns. The WTS does not say that the clergy that abandons "Babylon the Great" and escapes that destruction will also survive Armageddon.

If god judges based on heart condition and not on acceptance of his earthly organization then preaching work is pointless. Don't think they want to be so blatant about heart condition so as to warrant anti-preaching thoughts.
