The July 15, 2015 Study Watchtower article entitled "Your Deliverance Is Getting Near", along with the JW Broadcasting Video entitled "Gerrit Lösch: Fortified by "the Prophetic Word," and Chapter 21 of the God's Kingdom Rules! Book presented a large amount of New Light or Clarified Understanding of the events of the Great Tribulation.
Here I am presenting it in Chronological Order -- this is the Governing Body's updated Chronological Order of Events for the time right before the Great Tribulation through Armageddon:
- The Final Sealing of the Anointed occurs just prior to the outbreak of the Tribulation. This Final Sealing is when the true Anointed on earth become "once saved, always saved." From this point on they cannot lose their salvation. In addition, the Anointed somehow know in their hearts when this Final Sealing takes place, therefore, they will know that the outbreak of the Tribulation is imminent.
- The Cry of "Peace and Security!" happens. This is done by nations who believe they have accomplished getting great peace in several places. It may be one big announcement or multiple ones. The clergy may, or may not join in with the nations in crying "Peace and Security!"
- The Tribulation must begin before the Overlapping Generation dies. Some of the Anointed who received their anointing while the Anointed who witnessed 1914 are still alive, must survive until the Tribulation begins. (However, based on the new 2015 Insight Book, this may be changed soon)
- The United Nations ("Disgusting Thing") receives extra authority from the nations and outlaws the organizations within Christendom, confiscating their money and property. But the clergy and members of the churches are not killed.
- The United Nations then does the same thing to all other religious groups (Babylon), and it appears that they will do it to the Watchtower Society as well. But something miraculous occurs, causing the UN to not harm the Society.
- Now begins a short time of calm during the Great Tribulation. This period may last weeks, months, or perhaps even 4 years. Jehovah's Witnesses begin preaching the "Judgment Message" instead of the "Kingdom Good News." People who were formerly in Christendom or the other religious groups lie and hide the fact that they were ever religious. They claim they've always been atheists.
- Former members of false religion can choose to repent and assist the Anointed (thus becoming a sheep instead of a goat) as long as the Anointed are still alive. However, most people will choose not to.
- Signs in the Heavens and on the Earth now occur. This may be literal or it may be symbolic. We have to wait and see.
- A supernatural sign of the Son of Man will appear in the sky when Jesus comes to judge the sheep and goats. The goats will know in their hearts that they are goats and the sheep will know in their hearts that they are sheep. The goats will panic and run to caves, and the sheep will lift up their heads.
- Gog of Magog (a Coalition of Nations led by the mysterious King of the North) will get upset at the Judgment Message, and attack Jehovah's Witnesses, attempting to annihilate them.
- The Gathering of the Anointed occurs. Jesus sends His angels to rapture the remaining Anointed up to Heaven.
- Jesus arrives, along with the full 144,000 Anointed Ones, and they destroy Gog of Magog and all of the goats. This is the Battle of Armageddon.
- Satan and the demons are cast into the Abyss.
- The Heavenly Wedding Ceremony of Jesus and the 144,000 occurs.
- The Millennial Reign of Christ begins.
