This is an interesting poll, and it is a preview of how many will view the Witnesses when the truth about their hidden pedophilia comes out. Perhaps it will be worse for the Witnesses, since most people do not like Witnesses anyway! All the more reason to close the door on them.

(CNN) -- Most Americans -- and most American Catholics -- continue to hold a poor opinion of the Catholic Church's response to allegations of sexual abuse of minors by priests, a CNN/USA Today/Gallup poll has found.

Catholics strongly call for the church to remove someone from the priesthood after even a single proven incident of sexual abuse. They say the pope should remove Cardinal Bernard Law as head of the Boston archdiocese and feel the same way about any bishop or cardinal who had known of sexual abuse by a priest and moved him to another parish rather than reporting it to the authorities.

The results are from interviews with 1,002 adult Americans, including 212 Catholics, conducted April 29-May 1. The sampling error is +/- 7 percentage points.

plus, the Watchtower can't use the "gay priest" excuse like the Catholic Church is attempting. Most of the WT's cases appear to be female.

It will not be perhaps Randy. I'm expecting severe backlash against the witnesses as the Catholic Church will have primed the public against pedophilic.

The Catholics have endured decades of reviling and slander from the Watchtower (who are no less revilers and slanderers themselves.)

Perhaps the Catholic Church's time has come for payback.

I know one thing is for sure .... when a person thinks the Holy Spirit is directing each and every step of their organization, i.e., appointing elders, MS, pioneers, COs, GB, etc., and those persons turn out to not only be child molesters, but it turns out they were doing all of these disgusting things WHILE they were appointed, well, that's gonna be a touchy subject for any JW -- especially ones who have gone door to door and on bible studies bashing the Catholic Church.

I have recently heard of a JW who was bashing the Church over the pedophilia. I cannot wait until the JW problem gets the publicity it deserves.

The fact is that there are sinners in EVERY organization. But somehow the Watchtower's arrogance and pointing the finger for so many years is just going to taste so good to my mouth.
