James 5:16 states, as translated in the NWT :

Therefore, openly confess your sins to one another and pray for one another, so that you may be healed. A righteous man's supplication has a powerful effect. [Lit., " has much force when it is at work."]

The following questions come to mind:

1 - Do members of the governing body confess their sins?

2 - To whom do they confess their sins? Would they ever formally confess their sins to anyone outside the governing body? [I say formally because theymay confide in someone personally, without fear of others becoming aware. However, formally would give the conotation of having to be addressed by spiritual men according to religious guidelines.]

3 - Have the governing body ever, as a group or individually, and sincerely, ever prayed for Jehovah to heal the wounds of molested children they have become aware of or have knowledge of?

Mini gods think they are not sinners. Wash their robes in the blood of the lamb, pure.

I doubt that they would ever admit to another of sinning. Have ever notice how fat these guys are that is a sin.

The followers are sinners and are encouraged to confess their sins so they can be disfellowshipped, marked. Supposedly,it places the fear in the younger Jehovahs witnesses to never sin or else look how unhappy that dfd person is!

I do not think the JWs believe in confessing their sins to one another. Sad they could apply a simple bible scripture to help one another instead of hindering.

The prayers of the geverning body probably sound a lot like this:

    Luke 18:11, RNWT:

11 The Pharisee GB member stood by himself and prayed: ‘God, I thank you that I am not like other people—robbers, evildoers, adulterers—university students, single mothers, porn-watchers, or even like this tax collector low-hour publisher. 12 I fast twice a week ride in coach class when I make zone visits to tropical islands and give a tenth of all I get in the cash-stuffed envelopes from wealthy witnesses.’

Ironically, the most prolific stone-throwers (the GB) also live in the biggest glass house....

I don't know what their prayers are like.

I just wish more than one of them had a crisis of conscience and responded accordingly.

    Gosh.

    Never saw that coming.

Maybe they do confess since all the prayers from the platform is "we give thanks for the Governing Body"!!

Judging by the mess of the WTBS either they don't pray or they're not heard. I'd go for the latter.
