Indeed. Watchtower has liquidated a lot of properties for cash. Where is the money going? Most likely to the Governing Body Disaster Preparedness Fund. Because their EVERY need is more important than anything else.
I guess you could throw away the rest of the Bible and just keep that verse- then the Bible would make sense... There really isn't much more to life than sex & money at the end of the day, IMO.
And let's not forget about the wine making life rejoice.
It all seems so contrary to the messages. So JWs should earn a college degree to get more money? And if somebody tells you otherwise, you can show them this verse.

Wow, it's funny how a different translation can reveal a whole new meaning to a verse.
"...money is what meets a response in all things" is such an obfuscated way of translating that verse.
