In Revelation 20: 2-3 it says Jesus throws Satan into the abyss for 1,000 years. The WT said this about where the demons will be:

    *** w04 11/15 p. 30 Questions From Readers ***

Where will the demons be during the Thousand Year Reign of Christ?

The Bible does not explicitly answer this question. However, we can come to a logical conclusion about where the demons will. . . . These verses speak only of the abyssing of Satan. . . the demons are not mentioned, it stands to reason that. . . the glorified Jesus Christ. . . will do the same with the demons. . .

Is it possible, though, that Revelation 20:1-3 does not mention the demons because they are destroyed at Armageddon along with the visible part of Satan’s seed? The Bible renders this possibility unlikely.

Now here is where the reasoning gets pretty.....ahem....."logical".

    Concerning Satan’s final destiny, it states: “The Devil who was misleading them was hurled into the lake of fire and sulphur, where both the wild beast and the false prophet already were;

Had the more powerful invisible spirit part of Satan’s seed been destroyed at Armageddon, the demons would surely have been mentioned as already being in that symbolic lake along with the wild beast and the false prophet. Their absence at Revelation 20:10 indicates that the demons are not destroyed at Armageddon. Revelation 20:1-3 speaks only of Satan’s being seized and hurled into the abyss of inactivity, we can logically conclude that his angels too will be bound and abyssed.

So there it is. Great "logical" reasoning. . . again. On the one hand because they are not specifically mentioned they are included with Satan, and on the other hand because they are not specifically mentioned they CANNOT be included. So which is it?

Here is a fallacy from the above quotation that is so common as to be 'hidden in plain sight':

    • the Thousand Year Reign of Christ

    But compare with this.

Will Jehovah never tire of testing us and giving us yet one more time to deserve destruction?

As the story goes...it was proven in the Garden of Eden that we can't go it alone and will ultimately fail, thus the need for a "Saviour."

And, according the Genesis story, it has been proven over and over and over and over over and over and over and over since then.

But after a 1,000 years boys and girls.......let the Devil and his demons have a go at humans again. HAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!

    Sick, if you ask me.

A better plan would be to bind joke-hova and its filthy angels, the gods of slavery, torture, suffering, and communism. Let the Gods of freedom loose--Satan and His Demons. And let joke-hova and its angels stay bound forever. I think freedom and the ability to actually work with my soul without joke-hova ruining everything would be better than suffering under slavery, sex-phobias, torture, and the threat of getting slaughtered if you disagree with anything.

Not only 'convoluted reasoning', but more importantly, blatant lies regarding verse 12!!!!!!

w85 6/15 p. 18 par. 21 "During this thousand-year judgment period, [LIE!] Jehovah evidently will give additional instructions, unknown to us at present, as new [LIE!] "scrolls" are opened. (Rev. 20:12) How marvelous it will be for the survivors of the "great tribulation" and for the resurrected dead to gain instruction and guidance from these further instructions [LIE!] as set forth on these unrolled "scrolls" of Jehovah and to carry them out delightfully!"

What is the truth about these "New Scrolls"?

Jesus said, "Your Word is truth", so we can rely on God's Word to tell us the truth about them.

This is what Revelation 20:12 says:

"And scrolls were opened ....... "And the dead were judged out of those things written in the scrolls according to their deeds."

    1) No "new" scrolls are mentioned.

    2) The scrolls spoken about are not "new teachings", they are used as a basis to judge the dead.

    3) The scrolls are not opened during Christ's 1000 year reign - read Revelation 20:1-10.

'Interpolation' means "to insert new or spurious matter", something which the angel warned against; "If anyone makes an addition to these things, God will add to him the plagues that are written in this scroll." (Rev.22:18) This applies to the use of the word "new" in order to create a wrong teaching.

It is interesting to note that the word "new" was been quietly removed from the this comment on Revelation 20:12: "The resurrected ones will be judged, not on the basis of what they did before they died, but on what they do when the contents of the "scrolls" mentioned in Revelation 20 are revealed".(Watchtower 1/09/12, p. 16) No explanation is offered for the change in the terminology!

John told Christians to "test the inspired expressions to see if they originate with God". (1 John 4:1)
