There is no rift between Stafford and Furuli, and the reason why Furuli's book has been postponed, is the following: He is presently working on completing his doctorate, his doctor's degree,which will be completed next year, and found he did not have the time simulatneously to finish his book. He found that he could not publish now what he had written, as it required far more study to fully deal with the questions. His book on chronology is therefore postponed till after the doctorate is completed. It will deal with Persian, Assyrian and Babylonian chronology as compared to the Bible, and will as such be a comment or reply to the traditional chronology and Jonsson's views.
