its about what we can find in the appendixes of the brand-new hot of the oven NTW, pp 1720:

"At the same time, extremes in rewording the text must be avoided. A translator who liberally paraphrases the Bible according to how he interprets the overall idea could distort the meaning of the text. How so? The translator may erroneously insert his opinion of what the original text means or may omit important details contained in the original text. So while paraphrases of the Bible may be easy to read, their very freeness at times may prevent the reader from getting the true message of the text."

Im wordless about this descaro, desfachatez, atrevimiento. its not what they are doing it?

Don't forget that the average JW has no idea what a paraphrased bible is to begin with. They abuse and manipulate these poor souls

I guess this is the "Spanish" club...

    I need your guy's help.

I would like to take on a massive project: To translate ALL WT literature into Spanish (and later Portuguese), particularly the older ones. People need to know.

    If you need motivation:

There are at least 2 million JW's who speak Spanish and/or Portuguese. That is almost a full third of all JW's in the world. And their numbers are increasing by the minute. Think about this, the number of publications NOT available in Spanish:

    The Kingdom Interlinear

Most, if not all WT's from 1879 until 1930's (?)

Most, if not all, books from before 1930

The WT Library in Spanish only has WT's up to 1970. So they cannot know about the end to the vaccination ban (1952), the end to the worshipping of Jesus (1954), the beginning of the organ transplant ban (1967), among other things.

Fully two thirds of JW's do NOT have the tools to really know TTATT... If they listen to TTATT from a bilingual apostate, then they may think, well this guy changed everything while he is translating things to me... perhaps if more written translations were available, instead of translating "on the spot"... then things would be easier?

It would be an amazing gift to the Spanish Ex-JW community. We really are stumped, we really have a handicap if we do not have the literature in our own language.

    Thanks!!

The WTS has distored quite a bit. The Reasoning from the Scriptures book was supposed to

help folks understand the jehovah's Witnesses interpretation and translation of the Bible

Here's a good example of the WTS distortion on blood

" There the eating of blood is equated with idolitry and fornication, things that we should not want to engage in, " and

"Similarly, any food to which whole blood or even some blood fractions has been added should not be eaten."___Reasoning Book page 71

Whole blood is still a sin, but Nu Lite now allows Jehovah's Witnesses to do a fraction of that sin if their conscience let 'em

Poor Adam and Eve. To bad the governin' body wasn't 'round to explain to Jehovah 'bout fractions
