Funny that, ain't it?

Ever noticed that the Dubs sure have a strange sense of logic.

Take DFing for example. Apparently the person DFed is cut off from association. Right?....... Wrong! The DFed person is free to talk to whomever they wish. It's the faithful Dubs who can't have the fellowship.

    Strange that, ain't it?

    That is a good point.
Most of the time both parties do suffer though.
Especially if most of the disfellowshipped ones family is J.W.

Another way to look at it is that I am perfectly willing to talk to them, they refuse to talk to me, but because I DA'd myself I'm the one that left them!

Indeed, Ozzie... funny. Peace to you!

I have always 'marveled' over the great lengths they go to get out of MY way... on the street and in the market, etc. I mean, I can be pushing my cart down and aisle and see a 'sister', she sees me, and makes a detour. Or will change checkout lanes. Yesterday, I ran into one I hadn't seen in awhile, while speaking with two other ladies (both former JWs). This 'sister' did not know that one of the women was disfellowshipped (along with me; she is supposedly my 'crony') and the other inactive (with no plans of returning).

She spoke to the other ladies, and when I spoke she got a bit flustered, quite obviously. A look of, well, fright came across her face. My point? If they 'have God'... and I don't... why in the WORLD are THEY... afraid of ME? I mean, if God is WITH them, who can be against them? And yet, their fear is unmistakable.

I can speak to them... and to whomever else I wish to. I can love them... and whomever else I wish to. I can even help them, if needed... and whomever else I wish to. Why? Because I am 'free'. Free to speak, free to love, free to help. They, on the other hand, are the ones existing in bondage... and fear... for they can not only not speak... but not LOVE. Yet, they consider themselves to BE 'free' because the 'trooth' set them free.

It is quite pitiful and heart-renching to me, really.

Anyway, just my $0.02 on that one.

    Peace to you!

    A slave of Christ,
