There have been rumors appearing on some sites that Anonymous includes critical support within the US military. Add to that the lowest approval polls for Congress ever, a US population that is deeply opposed to upcoming war and increasing distrust of anything the government says.

Gee, I wonder how this emerging circumstance might end up? I also wonder why Obama has removed so many high ranking officers.....

    Sigh.......

well while you figure it out hundreds of people are dying every hour and thousands becoming refugees, so figure out how much they need your help in Syria in a speedy fashion x

I am disgusted with our parliment and ashamed that they are not assisting. The future will dictate whether it was honourable to wait so long and whether to go in or not... But in the present, children and their mothers are being sniped to death crossing the street to school by their own dictatorial government.

p.s. it isnt that surprising by the way, 2 false wars in the last 10 years, an economic crisis, a right wing news dominated media which would declare Obama can't swim, if he walked on water.....

but still, the Syrians are begging for our help.... Maybe if they had oil we would be less considerate and time consuming in deciding?

People in Syria are dying because they are shooting at government troops.

Quit shooting at the government and take flight like the smart refugees.

The number dying in Syria are small compared to the number of people earthwide that die of starvation, malaria, dysentery etc.

Why spend money killing people when you could save lives.

The rebels in Syria are just another bunch of people who want to die as quickly as possible to get to paradise and have own their personal harem.

people are sick of bad government, are willing to die (or be disfellowshipped) to escape and have change.

could it lead to another French Revolution kind of change?

    Are you serious?

in SEPTEMBER 2013 we can't end dysentry or malaria or starvation, but we can stop the military in syria killing its own people, numbering nearly 1500 in one night. Children, women and men being killed by a neurological toxic gas, a long and painful death. That may be a 'small' number to you, but it is about 1500 too many for the average news reader. Ironically starvation, malaria and dysentry don't kill that many people in the same time frame.

Refugges are being refused asylum everywhere as 2 millon have already left. Saudi has taken many but now their resources are full. I am dissapointed scotima, if the government started killing your family, would you just run away? What if this happened to a school near you?

still running away or are you fighting for freedom to live?

i see you have no knowledge whatsoever of the situation in Syria, thank goodness you hold no sway.
