In his Book "Peril in Paradise", Dr. Mark Whorton, (who holds a PhD in aerospace engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology), puts forward some very convincing arguments for "Old-Earth", as he compares the "Perfect PARDISE Paradigm" to the " Perfect PURPOSE Paradigm" proposed by creationists. He shows how entropy, death, pain and suffering already existed before the "fall".

A good read for JWs that shows this mortal decaying earth, may NOT be their "eternal" home.

    But there is a flaw.

The absolute irrefutable fact is that there was no perfection, no Adam and Eve and no fall.

Humans evolved from non-human ancestors over millions of years.

Any theology that conflicts with this reality needs to be rejected as fantasy.

@Cofty ****** The absolute irrefutable fact is that there was no perfection ****

thanks for the reply, I hope all is well :)

I believe that's the argument he is making in the Perfect "PURPOSE" model of creation and NOT the perfect "PARADISE" model of perfection, because it's not perfect.
