The wall on which the prophets wrote
Is cracking at the seams.
Upon the instruments of death
The sunlight brightly gleams.
When every man is torn apart
With nightmares and with dreams,
Will no one lay the laurel wreath
When silence drowns the screams.
Confusion will be my epitaph.
As I crawl a cracked and broken path
If we make it we can all sit back
And laugh.
But I fear tomorrow I'll be crying,
Yes I fear tomorrow I'll be crying.
Between the iron gates of fate,
The seeds of time were sown,
And watered by the deeds of those
Who know and who are known;
Knowledge is a deadly friend
When no one sets the rules.
The fate of all mankind I see
Is in the hands of fools.
Confusion will be my epitaph.
As I crawl a cracked and broken path
If we make it we can all sit back
And laugh.
But I fear tomorrow I'll be crying,
Yes I fear tomorrow I'll be crying. -

I love the album!
When Greg Lake was in ELP, on one of the live albums, he sings a few lines of Epitaph during Tarkus.

Yeah, they rock!! I am big fan of progressive rock bands. I seem to be attracted to quirky music. I like The Toll as well. Sometimes I hear a song and it makes think of TTATT. Of course once you awaken, everything does.... I still lose sleep reasoning about TTATT in my head some nights. On a good day I drink a margerita, and listen to some good music. That's when I am free. I don't need drugs, just a good album.

Prog is my favorite music too. I've seen Yes half a dozen times. Been to Progfest, Progday, Nearfest. I don't have the energy to go to so many concerts these days, but I'm like you, but minus the alchohol: a good album and I'm set.
A good Prog album for TTATT is Pawn Hearts from Van der Graaf Generator.
