Given the great importance that WT attaches to the 144 000, there is an alledged
PERSONAL involvment for all humans in the REV.7 description of that number. Its a story about ANGELS that
SORT out Humans, particularly religious ones, into 12 categories, patterned after the 12 sons od ISRAEL.
Each of these sons had a life story/future and character, touched on in the "blessings" story in -Genesis 48,49. this applies:
Joseph has two of the "spiritual" symbolic tribes in Rev.7. but we are not talking "anointed" here, or wether you partake or not, or should or should not.
The text implies that the angels (if any) have figured you out, they know your history, your character, and have classified you in this great pre- Armageddon* TRIAGE.
Then, once THAT is done, they go at it again and seal some of us to be a martyr and to be part of the 12 000 SEALED out of each tribe. good luck. But:
you have a Personality, life history, intentions, that would allow an observer to classify you, psychiatrist-style into 12 categories. If the doctor can do it, can not the angels (if any) ??
So, looking at yourself and Jacobs criteria, of what tribe might you be?
